NOT a Brain Hack For Grief
I hate the term ‘Hack’ especially when linked with the brain and getting better personally, to me it’s ‘clickbait’ and aimed at getting views from people who want quick results but with no effort at all, and Yup, I have my little rant in this episode.
Moving on to the real subject at hand – Grief – and if you are feeling that emotion right now I’m so sorry with you. The thing is we choose to suffer that grief and we choose how long we have to suffer, stay with me here because when I say choose that’s a good thing because we do get to choose but we don’t realize it in the moment. That’s why I recorded this, probably my longest episode to date, to share with you my experiences and how I learned to deal with grief in a different way and remember in a way that makes me feel good again and reconnected.
Also, I think we can forget grief can come from many different causes and not just the loss of a loved one, such as loss of a job, being let go, retirement, and in living relationships – divorce being one example. What I share with you, I believe, if not completely changing the way you feel will help immeasurably.
So whether you are still enduring the pains of grief or not (it tends to find us some time in our lives) I think there’s a golden nugget or two you can take away with you.
