What Are You Afraid of Losing?

What Are You Afraid of Losing?

Here’s the thing…

We spend so much of our lives trying to get somewhere else.

More confidence… more success… more passion… more meaning.

And I don’t know about you… but sometimes the harder you try to find it…

The further away it seems.

I’ve been there recently.
Looking for my “North Star”… that spark… that something new.

And the more I looked… the more it disappeared.

Frustrating? Oh yes.

But then something shifted.

A quiet little question popped up:

“What am I afraid of losing?”

Now that’s a different question altogether, isn’t it?

Because suddenly… it’s not about chasing something new.

It’s about what you’re holding onto.

And the thing is…

We all hold onto things that no longer serve us.

Old habits. Old identities. Old emotional baggage.

Not because we love them…

But because they’re familiar.

And familiar feels safe.

Even when it’s keeping you small.

And maybe… just maybe…

The reason you haven’t moved forward…

Isn’t because you don’t know how.

It’s because a part of you is trying to protect something.

And when you see that…

Really see it…

That’s when things begin to change.

Not by force.

But by awareness.

And awareness… creates choice.
